On Sunday, officials from China and the DPRK attended a ceremony to mark the completed renovation of a martyrs' cemetery in Kaesong. Chinese Civil Affairs Minister Li Liguo and chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association Kang Ha Guk were present.
They laid wreaths to pay tributes to Chinese soldiers who fought alongside the DPRK army, and died in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. More than 15-thousand martyrs are buried in the cemetery.
